Connect OKX with a read-only API Key
This guide is for a regular OKX account using a manually created API Key. It takes about five minutes.
1. Open API management
Section titled “1. Open API management”Use the official OKX app or website:
- OKX app: Sign in → open the main menu → API → Create API key.
- OKX website: Sign in → open your profile → API and connections → Create API key.
If OKX does not let you create a key, complete the requested identity and security checks first. Some regional account versions may also apply an asset threshold.
2. Fill in the key settings
Section titled “2. Fill in the key settings”Use these values as a guide:

Complete the OKX security verification and create the key.
3. Copy all three credentials
Section titled “3. Copy all three credentials”OKX shows three separate values. Keep the creation page open until all three have been saved:
- API Key
- Secret Key
- Passphrase

Section titled “4. Add the account in TickPro”- Open TickPro → Settings → OKX.
- Tap Add a new OKX account.
- Select the API Key tab.
- Enter the API Key, Secret Key, and Passphrase.
- Tap Validate API Key.
- When validation succeeds, tap Save and connect.
TickPro asks OKX for the key’s actual permissions. A key with trading or withdrawal access cannot be saved.

After changing permissions or IP restrictions in OKX, return to TickPro and validate again.
Revoke access later
Section titled “Revoke access later”Open OKX → API / API and connections, find the TickPro key, and delete it. You can also remove the connected account from TickPro.
